Today’s Thoughts
The world of AI art is changing quickly every day and many talented artists embracing the new technology are creating tools to help fellow artists in the field. The following is a great educational video.

Open Art is a platform that allows you to explore 10M+ pieces of AI art and prompts generated by DALL·E 2, Mid Journey, SD. The Open Art website is a brilliant idea but most likely counterintuitive to most traditional artists.
It’s interesting to see how the Open Source movement and the Creative Commons license philosophies have been influenced and adopted in the AI world. It’s also amazing to see the way artists and programmers can work together.
Digital citizens often think about art copyright/ownership differently than someone from the analog world who is focused on intellectual property/copyright based on traditional mediums like paint/canvas, sculpture, and pottery. AI is not a new tool, it is being used in many art programs and tools many artists use today. The way it is learning and producing from the PROMPTS a human gives it creates what we tell it through its AI brain. It’s another tool in the artist’s toolbox.
Open Art gives anyone the ability to learn from others using the AI apps like DALL·E 2, Mid Journey, and SD to create art which means more people will be able to express themselves. These AI apps let the user learn how to create art like a professional artist, but they don’t need any previous knowledge. The user can also use these apps to improve their creativity, while learning, I think this is what frightens some traditional artists.
It is my understanding the Open Art team is planning for a feature to match an image you upload. Looking forward to the development of this website and hoping they can figure out their business model, we all know servers and storage cost money.

The debate surrounding AI Art is being played out in the media. There are those who believe that AI art can never be creative and there are those who believe it’s a new form of art that has never been seen before. I believe it is another tool artists can use to bring their visions to life.
The use of AI in the creation and distribution of art is still very new, but it is having an impact on the art world. There are many different opinions about whether or not AI can create original pieces of work, but it does have a place as a tool for artists to use to help them create new and interesting things.
Technology has always been a tool for artists. From the invention of the camera to the introduction of music sampling, new technology has given artists new opportunities to create. For example, in recent years we’ve seen the introduction of AI-writing assistants that can generate text of different formats such as blog posts, social media posts, articles, and emails with ease.
It is a new way to push the boundaries of creativity and explore new ways to express oneself. The AI-generated art can be created by using a machine learning algorithm or neural network. The algorithm is fed with a set of images and learns how to generate similar ones. Neural networks are layers of interconnected nodes that process data by passing it from node to node, like in the human brain.
