You Belong Somewhere You Feel Free

This past year has been beautifully difficult. It has been a time of loss, struggle, pain, and learning. I’ve taken time for reflection and meditation. I’ve failed, had some success. I’ve lost. I’ve created. I’ve learned and loved. My life has been full and the greatest gift is I’m still here to celebrate with you all. The understanding that life and our existence are fragile, and each one of us has a limited time here is my key to being present. I’m not perfect, I get mad, I get angry but not as often. I find myself listening more with friends and working more on listening to my partner who I often want to predict their text so to speak.

Starting today I’m committing to posting daily to my blog. Sharing the bare nakedness of my soul as I do with my art.

Some of my thoughts on topics will be on time. We waste other people’s time, we waste our own time even though it is the most precious “commodity” each of us has.

A few other topics of interest to me are brains, technology, and learning. Brains. Be cautious of what you feed your brain because we live inside our heads.

A New Hope

I’m currently working on a couple of themes in my work. The first is meditation and consciousness so you’ll see more of my work in this realm. The image you see here is one I created for a contest for an Artist Collective.
